Sandra Lou (Roberts) Elvir

November 3, 1971 ~ November 5, 2023 (age 52)

Sandra 'Lulu' Lou (Roberts) Elvir, age 52, traveled onto the Spirit World on Sunday, November 5, 2023 surrounded by family. Sandra was born in Red Lake MN to Allen 'Slugger' Roberts and Doborah 'Debbie' (Rainey) Roberts.

Sandra loved to cook - she could make some "bomb-ass" frybread, do scratch-offs, word finds and hang out with close cousins and friends. She took good care of her nieces and nephews, like they were her own. She loved having cookouts, sipping on a 40 and listening to music. She was very loving, had the biggest heart and always kept her door open for anyone who needed a place to lay their head! She is truly going to be missed deeply!

She is survived by brothers Alden 'Boy' Roberts and Ralph Thunder; sisters Rosetta Roberts and Shayna Clark; uncles Sam (Cindy) Rainey, Joe (Shirley) Rainey, Myron Rainey and Arlin (Jan) Roberts; aunts Patyanne Rossback, Darlene Drouillard, Roxanne Roberts, Kathy (Robert) Neadeau, Margaret Sumner, Doreen (Mario) Perez and Janet Pendleton; brother-in-law Salvador Fletes; nieces and nephews Keisha Roberts, Caela Pittman, Jeremy Roberts, Jerrick Roberts, Leawndra Roberts, Deawndra Roberts, Jaelyn Roberts, Alicia Roberts, Dominik and Deanna Roberts; great nieces and nephews Desmariyah-DeMia Roberts, Dyami Mendoza-Roberts, Luna Roberts, Christian Mejiamejia Jr, Traci-Tristan Cha'velle Day, Julon Johnson Jr - Maurice – Romero and Valencia Rodriquez.

The wake will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center, 2300 15th Ave S, Minneapolis, Minnesota and continue until the service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 with Spiritual Leader Fred Desjarlait. Active Pallbearers will be Alden 'Boy' Roberts, Jerrick Roberts, Dominik Roberts, Andy Sonnenberg, Chris Denny Sr, Chris Denny Jr and Cliff Jones. Alternate Pallbearers will be Clarence Drouillard and Bob Neadeau. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrea Mead, Jonelle Rainey, Joni, Angie and Teresa Martin, Shelly Rainey, Shonda, Suggie, Vonnie and Nellie Roberts, Stacy Day, Denise Rainey, Josette (Rainey) Jones, Keisha and Alicia Roberts, DeAnna Beauchamp, Rona Rainey, Tina Townsend and Lisa Tanner.

If we left anyone out, she had lots of family and friends, don't feel bad... she loved us all!!!
