The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds scored on their first 5 possessions enroute to a 40-14 win over Red Lake. The Thunderbirds kept the attack on the ground breaking big runs, and on the defensive side they were able to keep Red Lakes offense in the negative yards catagory. Red Lake did break a couple of longer plays in the 4th quarter to put some points on their brand new score board. The Thunderbirds are now 6-0 while Red Lake is 0-6.

The highlights were a 55 yard touchdown pass from Beaulieu to Kingbird, and a 20 yard run from Beaulieu to the house!
