CHEMICAL HEALTH PROGRAM

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for transporting people safely to and from the MARS program. Reports to Program Manager, salary; DOQ
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drivers log routes and ensures passengers safety
• Punctual in work attendance
• Follow daily preventative maintenance with Motor pool; including checking and changing vehicle fluid levels, verifying that vehicles are in safe working condition
• Maintain client confidentiality according to federal and tribal rules and regulations
• Maintain professional working relationships with coworkers and MARS clients
• Execute safe work procedures associated with duties
• Operate a 15 passenger van or other designated program vehicle
• Ability to deal calmly and courteously with the public
• Report accidents or other traffic disruptions to Program Manager
• Follow tribal, state, and federal transit regulations
• Obey traffic laws
• Ability to multitask instantaneously
• Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• GED/High School Diploma
• Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver License
• Must possess and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must be able to pass random Drug/Alcohol tests
• Excellent driving capabilities in environmental elements; heat, cold, dust, noise, rain, snow, ice, etc.
• Employment contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment drug/alcohol Test
