Miranda Lynn Horse "Pejuta Waḣćá Yuhan Mani Win" (Walks With Medicine Flower) was reunited with her Dad, and left this earthly world Sunday July 30, 2023 at her home in Moorhead, Minnesota at the age of 32 years.

There will be a Wake and Prayer Service at St. Michael's Recreation Center on Monday, August 7th, 2023 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Monday from City Plaza, Devils Lake.

The Funeral Service with the Final Farewell viewing will be on Tuesday, August 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Recreation Center with Graveside Services at 11:00 a.m. at the Native American Church Cemetery, rural St. Michael. Gerard Thompson Sr. will officiate the services. Music will be provided by the Spirit Lake Singers.

Miranda Lynn Horse was born on January 4th, 1991 in Devils Lake, ND to the late Dion Horse and Selina (Thompson) Horse.

Miranda grew up on the Spirit Lake Nation and attended the local schools, Four Winds and Warwick. She also attended secondary school in Mahnomen, Minnesota.

Miranda made her final residence in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Miranda attended powwows with her Dad throughout Indian Country. She was Jr. Princess for the Albert Grass VFW Post #173, Fort Yates, North Dakota.

Miranda loved to cook and grill out for her little family. In the springtime, Miranda loved to stand by the river and listen to the water. Her favorite memory was when she took a trip to Orlando, Florida with her family.

The loving family that survives Miranda are her three daughters Janay, Kaia and KaRio and her son Eli Beasley her pride and joy; her fiancé Marcellus Beasley Jr.; mother Selina Thompson; adopted parents Ivan and Lynette Lovejoy; brothers Keegan Thompson, Blaine Horse, and Bradley Moore; adopted brothers Ivan Lovejoy Jr., Jay Lovejoy and Chuck Lovejoy; uncles Gerard Thompson Sr. and Ambrose Thompson Sr.; aunts Germaine Thompson, Anna Chaske, Marcella Thompson, Delphine Thompson, Arlene Belgarde, Florine Harrison and the Thunder Hawk girls; grandmothers Mary Horse Felicia, Catherine Howard and Wilma Horse; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Miranda was preceded in death by her father Dion Horse, brother Devon Moore, adopted brother Q Lovejoy, grandfathers Ambrose Thompson Sr., Hobert Horse Sr., Zachary Thompson and Floyd McKay, grandmothers Irene McKay, Lena Denne, Veronica DuMarce, Rose McKay and Theresa Lee McKay, uncles Bradley Thompson and Raymond Thompson, aunt Sherry Horse, cousins Sampson Thompson, Tracy MakesGood, Johnathan Harrison, Sidney Thompson, LuAnne Chaske, Bliss Thompson, Janey Bellinger, Lyle Harrison, Delbert Harrison, Candice Harrison and Roxanne Harrison, grand nephew Hepana Littlewind-Delorme and many more cousins.
