RLNC Community Choir is Starting

Red Lake Nation College (RLNC) is starting a new RLNC Community Choir that will perform at various local, regional and national events. We already have several talented lead singers but we need about 12 to 15 or more singers to complete our full choir. Singers can be students, or Members of our Red Lake reservation community, or our Minneapolis community.

Practices will be held in August in both Red Lake and Minneapolis. Our RLNC Choir will perform mainstream and popular songs. Rachel King, our talented RLNC designer, will create our beautiful Ojibwe floral design Choir robes. We already have two large performances scheduled.

RLNC is also starting a Community Dance Program that will perform with our new Choir at these events. Tribal Member, Annamarie Hill, will be our Choir Director. She has well over 20 years of experience in music, and as a Director who has led many choirs. Please contact Annamarie at the places indicated on the attached flyer for more information.
