TRAINING MANAGER
MINO BIMAADIZIWIN WELLNESS CLINIC MINNEAPOLIS
OPEN:JUNE 30, 2023- Until filled.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and planning various culturally informed trainings that the Pediatric Mental Health program hosts for employees, partners and external organizations. This position reports to the Pediatric Mental Health Program Director. Full-Time position with benefits, starting salary $33/hr; DOQ
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Coordinate with external agencies and partners to arrange culturally informed trainings
• Manage and facilitates contracts with external parties
• Monitor training program effectiveness and make modifications as needed
• Stay updated on culturally informed training trends
• Create and streamline registration processes for trainings
• Manage training budget
• Be on site for in-person training sessions and/or present virtually for on-line trainings and ensure training materials are available as needed for participants and trainers
• Collaborate with Data Manager to manage and update software/website related to trainings i.e. Indigenous Health Toolkit Website
• Track Pediatric Mental Health clinical staff required trainings
• Engage in recruitment of participants for trainings
• Attend scheduled meetings and work groups for quality, staff training and development
• Report on performance improvement and quality measures related to trainings
• Establish new relationships with community stakeholders for the purposes of participant recruitment
• Assist in tasks for marketing related to trainings, which includes but is not limited to: representing the program at community events
• Collaborate with Data Manager to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of trainings. This would include but not be limited to; tracking number of participants and assisting in the creation and collection of pre and post training surveys
• Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Communications or related field required
• Master's or other graduate degree preferred but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft (i.e. excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Direct experience working with Native American communities is highly recommended
