Police release from jail without charges man they say fatally shot another over the weekend in St. Paul

Law enforcement said Monday that it is declining at this time to pursue charges against a man who shot and killed another man over the weekend in St. Paul.

The shooting occurred Saturday shortly after midnight near Payne and E. Arlington avenues, police said.

Officers located the shooting victim in an alley in the 600 block of Arlington. Police identified him as Antuan D. Jones, 41, of St Paul.
