Libby Caulum Named MNsure CEO

ST. PAUL, Minn.—Yesterday, the MNsure Board of Directors announced the appointment of Libby Caulum as chief executive officer (CEO). Caulum has been serving as acting CEO since Nate Clark retired in March.

After Clark announced his retirement, the board conducted an extensive search for a permanent chief executive. Throughout the search, the board had an opportunity to discuss the leadership qualities they wanted in place to further MNsure’s mission. After a rigorous interview and hiring process, the board chose to make Caulum’s appointment permanent.

“The board and I are all so excited to announce our choice to make Libby Caulum MNsure’s permanent CEO. She has a passion for building strong internal and external relationships and is truly dedicated to MNsure’s mission,” said Suyapa Miranda, chair of the MNsure Board of Directors. “We are enthusiastic about her collaborative leadership and are confident she will continue to foster diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.”

Prior to being named CEO, Caulum served as MNsure’s senior director of public affairs and has been with the organization since December of 2018.
