National Poison Prevention Week 2023 When Poisoning Happens, We're Here for You

In recognition of National Poison Prevention Week, March 19-25, the Minnesota Poison Control System is reminding Minnesotans that a poisoning can happen to anybody at any age, anytime and anywhere. Our poison experts are always available for you when a poisoning happens. It is a free, confidential, service for you and your loved ones, and we encourage you to learn more about this life-saving resource for all ages.

“We’re proud to serve all of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for your poisoning questions or emergencies,” says Dr. Jon Cole, Medical Director of Minnesota Poison Control System. “Whether it’s medications, plants, mushrooms, household products, chemicals, pesticides, or any other poison questions, we’re always here to serve you both confidentially and free of charge.”
