Dennis Paul “Mikinaak” (Baby D) Goodwin, Jr., 15, of Rice Lake, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at the Sanford Bagley Medical Center in Bagley, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at the Bagley High School Gymnasium in Bagley, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Faith Hill Assembly of God Church in Bagley. Pastor’s John Swanson and Jackie Bernacchi will be officiating. Interment will be held at Samuel Memorial Cemetery in NayTahWaush, MN. in the Spring.

Dennis Jr. aka “Baby D” was born on March 3, 2008, in Bemidji, MN., to parents Sarah Fox and Dennis Goodwin Sr. He was baptized on Easter Sunday of 2008 at St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church and was raised in Rice Lake, MN. He currently was an 8th grade student at Bagley High School, where he enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and basketball. Most of all, family was very important to him, and he was very protective over his family. His favorite place to be was at home spending time with his siblings, playing video games, hunting, fishing, and ricing. The loss of “Baby D” has impacted the entire community and he will be forever loved and deeply missed.
He is survived by his parents, Dennis Sr., and Sarah Goodwin
