Archie L. Villiard, age 65 of Cloquet, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home. He was born April 17, 1957 in Duluth, the son of Leon Arthur and Mary Louise Villiard. Archie was very strong, smart, and loving. He had amazing dreams for us and the people he cared for. Archie was a beloved father, dear friend to many, and a hard working member of the Fond du Lac Band. He will be dearly missed and leaves us with his wisdom and will forever be in our hearts.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents; Mary Louise Villiard and Leon Arthur Villiard; and one son, Stephen Villiard. He is survived by his children, Phillip Villiard, Alex Villiard, Moira (Sylvester) Villiard, Aurora Villiard, Jaquelynn Jo Villiard, and Nicole Villiard; siblings, Mary Ann (Bruce) Blacketter, Nora (Mike) Breems, Rita (Tim) Marczak and Crystal (Chris) Randall; many grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10:00 am. until the 12:00 noon Memorial Service at the Fond du Lac Cultural Center, followed with a luncheon. Military Honors will be presented by the Fond du Lac Honor Guard and the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. Inurnment service will follow at the Old Holy Family Cemetery. Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Care.
