Austin Gregory Jones (Bezhigo Bines), Bizhew clan of Duluth, MN, started his journey to the spirit world on Wednesday, February 15th. He was 27 years old.

Born on May 10th, 1996, Austin is survived by his parents, Marcella Mae Cree and Michael Duane Jones, his daughter Veronica, partner Sheree, his brothers Jerron, Cameron Sr., Daniel, and TJ, as well as his nieces and nephews Maska, Cameron Jr, Desmond, Jazmine, Natalia, Fletcher, Kaylinn, Terrance III, along with many other loving family members.

He is welcomed into the spirit world by his sister, Shelia Cree. Grandparents: Henry Cree Sr, Darlene (Morrow) Sanders, and Louis Jones. Aunts and Uncles: David, Audrey, and Goeff Jones, Delvin, June, and Shirley Cree.

A traditional wake will be held at the Peace Church on Tuesday, February 21st at 6 pm, and traditional funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10 am. He will be laid to rest in the spring, next to his Uncles David Jones (Zhaawaashkang) and Geoffrey Jones. (Babiidash)

Austin was a loyal, devoted, and loving soul to his family and friends. With kindness and compassion, Austin traveled through life spreading cheer and happiness wherever he went, as well as wisdom and generosity.
