SUBJECT LOCATED DECASED IN FISH HOUSE

Bemidji, MN – On Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at 1:44PM the Beltrami County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a male party had been located by family members unresponsive in a fish house on Lake Bemidji. Law enforcement, Emergency Medical Services and Fire units were dispatched to the scene which was located on the southwest corner of Lake Bemidji. Upon arrival of first responders, a 44-year-old male was pronounced deceased. The deceased was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. No foul play is suspected and no additional information is available at this time.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Bemidji Fire Department and Bemidji Ambulance Service.
