Racers ! Spectators ! Event organizers are happy to report excellent skiing conditions and eager to complete final preparations for the 40th Annual Minnesota Finlandia held Saturday February 18 at Buena Vista Ski Area. The race has a fine tradition of incredible skiing, hometown friendliness, and classic rustic charm of the Northwoods including rosemaled double bitted axe trophies and post race tales told round the barrel stove at the loggers Hall of Fame. Friday Night registration and Pasta feed is held at Keg N Cork, downtown Bemidji beginning at 5:00pm.

Spectators are welcome and have great access and viewing of the start and finish area. Wear your boots and cheer for your favorite skiers while enjoying a festive finish area with friends, music, great announcers and exciting race finishes. Trails are in excellent condition and are groomed for both skating and classic. The course is challenging with hills and wide vistas, and skiers are supported with three food and drink food stations along the course.

Bib pick-up in Hall Of Fame Log building at Buena Vista (all other races)

10am Buena Vista Classic 25km / 25k Pursuit
10:10am Minnesota Finlandia 50km
10:12am 25k Bemidjithon
10:14 am Northwoods 10k Tour non competitive tour out onto the scenic East side trails
11 am Hall of Fame Hospitality Feed Come in for soup, coffee and warm camaraderie
3:30 Awards Ceremony held at Hall of Fame
