Avery James Kingbird, Jr., Awaazisii – Bullhead Clan, infant son of Sydney Johnson and Avery Kingbird, Sr., travelled to the spirit world on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Avery was born on October 18, 2022, in Bemidji, MN. He was adored by his parents, brothers and sisters. Avery loved to be held and snuggle with his favorite Charmander stuffed animal.

He will forever be remembered by his parents; siblings: Azalea Kingbird, Chase Roy, Danielle Roy, and Daniel "Jeffy" Roy, Jr.; grandparents: Eva Kingbird, Jeff Bush, Tina Johnson; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Those greeting him in the spirit world are his grandfather, Stephan Jones; great-grandparents: Mary Kingbird, Albert King, Hank Cook, Roseadelle Johnson, Norman Spears; and uncle, Dean Kingbird.

The wake will begin at Noon on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah and continue until the service at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, January 15, 2023, with Allen Hardy officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Cyrus Whitefeather, Jason King, Jesus "Chuy" Reyes, Jared Nelson, Bradley Johnson, Jr., Ben Kingbird, and James "Jimboy" Kingbird. Honorary casketbearers will be: Stanley Jones, Troy Cook, Angel Stillday, Tyler P. Johnson, Taylee Kingbird, Azalea Kingbird, Chase Roy, Danielle Roy, Daniel "Jeffy" Roy, Jr., Zoey Gagnon, Maryana Kingbird, Tiffany Kingbird, Vernelle Kingbird-Spears, Ken Fox III, and Isaac Spears. Burial will be at the Johnson Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN
