Nancy Leree White, age 48, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at her home.

Nancy was born on December 2, 1974, in Minneapolis, MN, to Janet Thunder and Harold White, Jr. She loved to play Keno and try her luck with scratch off tickets. She was gifted with her hands and enjoyed arts and crafts, loved to clean, listen to music and watch Youtube. Above all, she loved taking care of her grandbabies and spending time with family. She will be lovingly remembered as quick to laugh and always willing to give a helping hand.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Thunder; grandmother, Betty Parkhurst; children: Rebecca (Kyle) Fairbanks, Naylah White-Jennings, Emiliano White-Thunder; four grandchildren: Brenda, Kyle Jr., Makoons and Animkii; brothers: David (Amy) Thunder, Anthony (Cookie) Erickson, Daniel Erickson, Jeffrey DeFoe, Harold White, III; sisters: Hope Thunder, Marla "MJ" Brown, Tahnee White; special sister, Colleen (Harley) Graves; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Those greeting Nancy are her father, Harold "Dunsey" White, Jr.; grandmother, Nancy Mathews-Thunder; grandfather, Harold White, Sr.; infant, Baby Boy White; sister, Morning Star Taylor; aunts: Rebecca Rose Thunder, Paulette Graves; nephew, David Julian Thunder; special cousin, Kathy Graves; as well as many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

The wake will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the New Red Lake Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 9, 2023, with Reverend George Ross officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Kyle Fairbanks, Orrin Thunder, Jory Thunder, Frank Brown, Anthony Pike, and Wilbert Maxwell, Jr. Honorary casketbearers will be: Bill Pemberton, Jr., Kyle Fairbanks, Jr., Amy Quaderer, Melia Hill, Jeffrey DeFoe, Harold White, III, Anthony Erickson, Daniel Erickson, Jessica Graves-Long, Gina Graves, and many friends and family.
