James P. "Corn Dog/Coon Dog" Needham, Jr. of the Bear Clan, age 54, of Redby, MN, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

James was born on April 23, 1968, in Minneapolis, MN, to James and Ramona (Beaulieu) Needham, Sr. James was always up for an adventure and spent time in Australia, New Zealand and Las Vegas. He had a determined nature, once his mind was set to something, he did it. He had a passion for learning, enjoyed reading and watching videos to gain knowledge on subjects that interested him. He was inquisitive and loved tinkering with electronics to see how they worked. James was a movie buff who loved watching The Matrix and John Wick movies. He listened to music of many genres, was quick to laugh and had a one of a kind sense of humor. Family was important to James and he loved spending time with his grandson, Joe.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Ramona Needham; son, Justin Needham; grandchildren: Joseph Howard and Grayson St. John; siblings: Kelly Donnell, Kevin Larusso, Randolph "Maush" Needham, Donovan Needham, Andrea (Jon) Humphrey, Terra Needham; uncles: Reginald Beaulieu, Sr., Randolph "Geezh" Beaulieu, Charles Charnoski, Sr.; aunts: Ronalda Charnoski, Geneva Beaulieu, Diane Beaulieu; special aunt, Joyce Fowler; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James was preceded in death by his father, James "Buddy Ham" Needham, Sr.; daughter, Charisse St. John; maternal grandparents: Roman and Betty Beaulieu, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Whiskey Frank and Julia Lajeunesse; uncles: Roman "Quatts" Beaulieu, Jr., William "Bill" Beaulieu, Franklin "Mace" Beaulieu, Charles Prentice, Paul Prentice; special uncle, Ron Fowler; aunts: Della, Trisha, and Marian Prentice, Patsy Needham, Barb Westbrook, Sandy Bosley; cousin: Rodney "Rock Steady" Strong.

The wake will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Redby Community Center and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 12, 2022, with Father John Christianson officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Kevin "Chief" Beaulieu, Reginald "Beebles" Beaulieu, Jr., Brad Blue, Fabian "Chunky" Crowe, Brett Nevitt, Raynagan Charnoski, Keon DeWitt, and Joseph Howard. Honorary casketbearers will be: Kevin (Rose) Larusso, Randolph "Maush" Needham, Donovan (Mel) Needham, Kelly Donnell, Andrea (Jon) Humphrey, Terra (Chris) Needham, Pam Needham, Ramona Maxwell, Jannette "Nettie" Needham, Grayson St. John, Iskode Needham, Charles "Whee" Charnoski, Jr., and Angela Charnoski.
