PRIMARY FUNCTION:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Oversee cannabis cultivation from seed to harvest
• Follow cultivation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure successful implementation
• Supervise a cultivation team
o Overseeing group of team members
o Initial and ongoing training of team
o Schedule employees to ensure plants receive proper care and attention
• Organize and document the daily processes according to documentation control SOPs including, but not limited to:
o Germination
o Transplanting
o Cloning
o Defoliation
o Drying
o Incidental plant treatments
• Ensure that the growth requirements of cannabis plants are consistently met (lighting, soil potential of hydrogen (P.H.), nutrients, etc.) through constant monitoring and responsiveness
• Diagnose and resolve plant health issues like mold, mildew, and other insect pest management (IPM) functions
• Maintain working knowledge of state cultivation regulations and updates
• Manage inventory relating to indoor cultivation (including equipment and supplies)
• Inspect the quality of plants and harvest throughout the growing process
• Maintain operation within regulatory boundaries to ensure compliance
• Planning out forecasts on supply needs, harvest schedule, and any setbacks that may arise
• Harvest schedule set under the guidance of Executive Director
• Being Hands-on with scheduling and ensuring product quality
• Maintaining an Inventory of nutrients, fertilizer, etc. for each day to ensure needs are met
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates (Horticulture related field Preferred) or equal experience
• Management: 2 years (Required)
• At least 2+ years of indoor growing experience
o Growing References required
• Ability to commute/relocate: Redby, Minnesota: Reliably commute or willing to relocate
• Full knowledge from Seed to Harvest
• Ample knowledge cloning cannabis plants
• Demonstrable knowledge of cannabis lighting and irrigation systems
• System installation and maintenance experience
o Irrigation
o Lighting
o Fertigation
o Nutrient dosing
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Minnesota pesticide application certification (can earn certification after employment)
• 30 hr. OSHA Certification (can earn certification after employment)
• Familiarity with Growlink software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communicational skills
• Open to learning and receiving constructive criticism
