OBAASHIING TREATMENT CENTER

OPEN: December 1, 2022- Until filled.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Lead Recovery Aide will provide supervision, care and guidance to clientele of the Obaashiing Treatment Center, as well as serve as point of contact and direct supervisor to all onsite Recovery Aides of the Obaashiing Treatment Center. Reports to Clinical Director, Full-time position with benefits. Evenings and Weekends. Salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Assist in emergency situations as directed

• Able to respond to referrals made by other social services agencies

• Document patient information in the log book using appropriate forms and in a timely manner

• Recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions based on training and experience

• Maintain strict and confidential guidelines regarding current and former clients, their families, and referents in accordance with federal and state laws

• Responsible for the providing guidance and supervision of the Recovery Aides

• Responsible for the oversight and development of the Recovery Aide Staffing and scheduling.

• Mandatory participation in trainings and workshops

• Transports, assists and participates in recreational and leisure activities.

• Responsible for ensuring unit and client's rooms are clean and orderly.

• May assist in the collection of urine analysis samples for individuals.

• Assist clients with goal and treatment objectives related to individual treatment plans.

• Assists with the transportation of clients to healthcare and other necessary appointments related to individuals success.

• Ability to provide effective communication both written and orally

• Ability to work cohesively with all levels of staff within Obaashiing.

• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's license and insurance required

• CPR & First Aid certification (preferred) or willing to obtain within 90 days

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work all shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check

• Must be free from problematic substance use for a minimum of 1 year.

• Minimum of a High school Diploma or Equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
