Dawn Marie Neadeau, age 51, of Red Lake, MN, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, in Red Lake.

Dawn was born on August 7, 1971, in Grand Forks, ND, to Beverly Redeagle and Douglas Neadeau. She attended school in Red Lake and was taking classes at the Red Lake Nation College. She worked at Seven Clans Casino and the Jourdain Perpich Center as a PCA. Dawn loved being a grandma and enjoyed taking her grandchildren on rides and swimming. She loved walking along Sandy Beach and watching movies from her extensive collection. Dawn also liked card games, dice, and enjoyed trying her luck at the casino. She was always willing to help anyone and her contagious laugh could be heard in a room full of people.

She will be lovingly remembered by: her children: Douglas Redeagle, Brenda Sotelo, Omar Sotelo, Micheala Crawford, Michael Neadeau, Marie Crawford, Maurice Crawford, Brendan Neadeau, Nataya Neadeau and Melvina Abbott; grandchildren: Chanelle, Lynelle, Dominic, DJ, Stacy, Stella, Adriel and Alayah; siblings: Edward Redeagle, Oscar Spears, Jennifer Spears, Royce Spears; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Those greeting Dawn are: her maternal grandparents: Verna and Clifford Redeagle; paternal grandparents: Katie and James Neadeau, Sr.; parents: Beverly Tait and Douglas Neadeau; brother, Arlyn Nelson; as well as many aunts, uncles and other relatives.

The wake will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the New Little Rock Center and continue until the service at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with Father John Christianson officiating. Active casketbearers will be: Douglas Redeagle, Brendan Neadeau, Jerricho Redeagle, Edward Redeagle, Jim Cobenais, Moe Crawford, and Oscar Spears. Honorary casketbearers will be: Sherilyn "Tweety" Neadeau, Kathy Anderson, Candy and Clyde Neadeau, Billie Jean Redeagle, Devon Andersen, Theresa Andersen, Charlene Andersen, Charmaine Andersen, Joyce Roy, Shelley English, Kelly Nelson, Doris Benais, Margaret Percy, Allura Neadeau, and Barb Bedeau.
