GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Legendary Olympic Gold Medalist and author Billy Mills (Oglala Sioux Tribe) will speak at Western Michigan University and Grand Valley State University in Michigan this week for "A Conversation with Billy Mills."
The program is designed provide an overview of how Billy Mills, who was orphaned at while yet a child went to win an Olympic Gold Medal and how he has remained relevant through the ensuing decades becoming a respected elder among Native Americans and others globally.
Mills be at Western Michigan University on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 pm - EST at the Western Michigan University's Fetzer Center,, 2251 Business Court, Kalamazoo. The conversation will be facilitated by Levi Rickert (Potawatomi), publisher and editor of Native News Online.
