O-BAASHIING TREATMENT CENTER

Open: November 3, 2022- until filled

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Residential Recovery Aide will provide supervision, care and guidance to clientele of the O-Baashiing Treatment Center, located in Ponemah, MN. Reports to Executive Director, part-time position no benefits. On-call 12:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m., (varying days) Salary; DOQ

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Assist emergency situations as directed in

• Able to respond to referrals made by other social services agencies

• Document patient information in the log book using appropriate forms and in a timely manner

• Recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions based on training and experience

• Maintain strict and confidential guidelines regarding current and former clients, their families, and referents in accordance with federal and state laws

• Mandatory participation in trainings and workshops

• Transports, assists and participates in recreational and leisure activities.

• Responsible for ensuring unit and client's rooms are clean and orderly.

• May assist in the collection of urine analysis samples for individuals.

• Assist clients with goal and treatment objectives related to individual treatment plans.

• Assists with the transportation of clients to healthcare and other necessary appointments related to individuals success.

• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's license and insurance required.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

• CPR & First Aid certification (preferred) or willing to obtain within 90 days

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work all shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check

• Must be free from problematic substance use for a minimum of 1 year.
