Steven "Sonny" Michael Jones, age 31 of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

Steven was born on August 23,1991 to Melanie Jones. He was blessed with two daughters, Liliana Valerie-Ann Jones and Brielle Skye Jones. Steven loved spending his time with his two "Queens" Liliana & Brielle, and with family and friends. He had a deep love for sports, including the New England Patriots. Steven had a great sense of humor, always teasing or cracking jokes making everyone laugh. He was a great guy who was always willing to help others. As a teenager he enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places with his Healing Spirit brothers & spending the holidays with his foster family the Morris'. He was loved by all who knew him especially for his loyalty, morals & values. He wore his heart on his sleeve.

Steven leaves behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Liliana Valerie-Ann Jones and Brielle Skye Jones, his Brother, Antonio Bellanger; Sisters, Juanita Jones, Cheyenne Jones, Marissa Jones; Nieces, Melanie, Monica, Bella & Melania; Nephews, Marcos, Abel, Orlando, Zachary, Hector, Jorge, Kayson, Eduardo, Victor and Roberto; Uncle, Mike Jones; Aunt, Melvina Jones; Cousins, Roberto Bellanger, Emily Maldonado, Ashleigh Maldonado and Gustavo Maldonado; Healing Spirit Brothers; Foster Parents, Sam and Adrienne Morris; Foster Brothers, Migizi Morris, Gabriel Sayers, Mateo Morris; Foster Sisters, Mercedes Morris, Mari Morris; Special Friends, Colon Hawkins, Jimmy Torrence, Everette BigBear; the Mother of his children, Mariah Little Thunder and many other friends & relatives.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Melanie Jones, his Grandmother, Christine Jones, Healing Spirit Brother, Adrian LaBatte and numerous other relatives.

He will be deeply missed and remembered by all his relatives & friends he leaves behind.

All Night wake will be held on Thursday, November 3rd beginning at 4 pm and continuing until the Funeral Service on Friday, November 4th, 2022 at 10 am at Gichitwaa Kateri Catholic Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Officiant will be Joseph Bester, and Drum will be Hoka Hey. Final Resting Place will be at Prince of Peace Cemetery in Cass Lake Minnesota.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be Melvina Jones, Juanita Jones, Cheyenne Jones, Marissa Jones, Mariah Little Thunder, Adrienne Morris, Sam Morris, Mercedes Morris, Mari Morris, Gabriel Sayers, Mateo Morris, Healing Spirit Brothers, Colon Hawkins, Jimmy Torrence, Everette BigBear, Ashlen Delgado & all of his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pall Bearers: Antonio Bellanger, Roberto Bellanger, Hector Montiel-Jones, Jorge Montiel-German, Migizi Morris, Gustavo Maldonado and Colton LaBatte (alternate).
