Roger "Denny Bug" Dennis Budreau, Sr., age 73, of the Bear Clan and Cass Lake, MN, started his journey to the spirit world on Monday, October 31, 2022, from the Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. He was born in Cass Lake on August 4, 1949, the son of Loretta (Jones) and Milton Budreau, Sr.

"Denny" loved spending time with family, he was always with one of his kids or his grandkids. He was known for always saying, "love everybody!" He loved traveling the United States and always looked forward to the annual Budreau Boys Family Football trips. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, cruising backroads, listening to "oldies" and old country music, and telling stories. Denny was a strong elder with a great sense of humor. He loved living the life of the tract 33 mayor. His favorite past time was visiting and enjoying a cold "Hurricane", his beverage of choice.

Greeting Denny in the spirit world are his parents, Loretta and Milton Budreau, Sr .; brother, Milton Budreau, Jr .; sister, Brenda Dee Budreau; significant other, Rita "Smitty" Buck; step-daughter, Bonita Earth; and step-son, George Earth, Sr.

Those left behind to cherish Denny's memory are his sons, Roger Budreau, Jr., Roger Buck, Richard Budreau, Cheyenne Budreau all of Cass Lake; daughters, Penny Mart of Minneapolis, MN, Rebecca Budreau of Walker, MN, Rhonda Buck of Minneapolis; step-daughter, Laura Buck; brothers, Robert Budreau, Sr., Anthony Budreau, and Harold Budreau all of Cass Lake; sisters, Linda (Rod) Fairbanks and Elsie Budreau both of Minneapolis; uncle, Eugene "Dopey" Budreau of Cass Lake; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A two-day wake for Denny will begin Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. and continue until Saturday, November 5, 2022, 11:00 a.m. funeral service, all to be held at the Facility Center in Cass Lake, MN. Father William "Bill" Butcher will officiate. Those helping to lay Denny to rest are Harold "Harry" Fairbanks, Robert Budreau, Jr., Gilbert Littlewolf, Jr., Kyle Fairbanks, Sr., Rodney Johnson, Jr., Chad Budreau, Alden Fairbanks, Jr., Russell "Rusty" Budreau, Sr. Alternates are Lynal Fairbanks, Sr., Jacob Budreau, and Shane Roy. Honorary pallbearers are all Denny's nieces, nephews, grandkids, great-grandkids, and friends. Following services Denny will take one final cruise of tract 33. Denny's final resting place will be with all his family.
