In Loving Memory of Delanie Lynn Desjarlait (Waaban Anaang) 22, born to Renae Kingbird Beaulieu and Harry S. Desjarlait on August 15, 2000. She began her spiritual journey October 16, 2022.

Delanie was a teacher. She couldn't speak, she couldn't walk, she couldn't see - but she was a teacher. She taught us about unconditional love. She taught us how to smile even when you are in pain. She taught us how to listen with our soul. She showed us how to take care of every need of another human being and love them with every fiber of your being. Her smile lit up the room. Her laughter filled our souls. Her tears made us cry. Lanie was simply the picture of love. Unconditional love. Let's all continue to let her teach us - and simply love each other.

Delanie is survived by her father Harry S. Desjarlait, her mother, Renae Kingbird Beaulieu; her special mother, Ginger Miller, who thought of Delanie as her own daughter and always made sure she was given all the special care, love and attention, since 2003; paternal grandparents: Donald E. (Jewel) Desjarlait Sr.; Maternal Grandparents; Timothy J. (Della) Beaulieu Sr.; Brother, Dominic Desjarlait; special brothers: Dedrick Desjarlait, Derek Desjarlait, Michael Don Desjarlait - Loud, Jack Brusewitz; sisters; Shaleigh Beaulieu, Brianne Maxwell, Kianna, Kinslee Desjarlait, Cataleya Schoenborn; Special sisters: Darian Desjarlait, Chalina and Shaleesa Johns, Jean Budish, Kari Wittenberg, Julia Mathison, Lily Boyd, Sasha Kolkin, Chelsea Bjerke, Keisha, Amanda, Ashleigh, Tiffani & Angel Brusewitz; aunts: Donalda Desjarlait, Billie Jean King; uncle: Tim Beaulieu Jr.; nephews: Tyrell Jr., Tre Dillon James; nieces; Tycee & Tyleigh.

Family Delanie is reunited with are her brothers: Dillon James Sayers and Marcus Maxwell; paternal great- grandparents: Leo & Ramona Desjarlait, Peter & Sylvia Brun, Roman & Evon Beaulieu, Lois "Marie" Stately - Kingbird. Uncles; Donald E. Desjarlait Jr., Michael V. Desjarlait; Cousins: Solomon and Waylon Desjarlait, Chase Jourdain.

The wake will begin the evening of Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the Red Lake Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 21, 2022, with Fred Desjarlait, Jr. as Spiritual Leader. Active pallbearers will be: Arlen "Oats" Jourdain, Robert Neadeau, Jr., Charles Grolla, Phillip Grolla, Robert May and Jeff Dolson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Brianne Maxwell, Shaleigh Beaulieu, Chalina Johns, Shaleesa Johns, Darian Desjarlait, Kyra Blue, Donalda Desjarlait, Billie Jean King, Lilah Beaulieu, Teanna Pemberton, Georgian King-Neadeau, Pebbles Jourdain, Diane Roy and Dominic Desjarlait, Dawn and Fawn Beaulieu. Burial will be at her grandpa and grandma Dejarlait's yard in Red Lake, MN.
