Baby Genesis Joan Huesers, 2 months old, of Bemidji, Minnesota, began her journey to the spirit world from her home on Friday, September 30th, 2022. She was born on August 4th, 2022, in Bemidji, MN to Shawntae Brown and Thomas Huesers.

Genesis was a happy, sweet, beautiful, and healthy baby girl whose smile lit up the whole room. She loved to get cuddles from her mom and dad, but she especially loved her one-on-one time with her mommy. Her time with us was short but she left the biggest imprint on our hearts. You will be forever missed, baby girl.

Family that will watch over her in the spirit world are her brother, Reign Huesers; grandmas, Jennifer Jenkins and Maxine Howard; grandpa, John Huesers; great grandpa, Louis Jenkins, Sr .; great auntie, Louise McKennett, and cousins, Robin Butcher and Raymond Jenkins, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Shawntae Brown, and Thomas Huesers; her siblings, Ariellah and Julius Huesers; grandparents, Charlene and Raymond Jenkins, Sr .; aunties, Ameera, Anishtah, Ayianna, and Aleeshane Jenkins, Toni Butcher, Trudy Magney and Ashley May; uncles, Derek, Justin, Jerod, and Douglas Howard, and Edward Jenkins-Whitefeather, Jr., many cousins and other relatives.

The wake for Baby Genesis will begin at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 8th and continue until her 11:00 a.m. traditional service on Sunday, October 9th all being held at the Facility Center in Cass Lake, MN. Arnold Kingbird will be her Spiritual Advisor. Pallbearers for Baby Genesis will be Anthony "Tony" Butcher, Michael Butcher, Jakobe Brown, James Brown, Jerod Howard, and Nathan Howard. Her honorary pallbearers will be her special aunties, Trudy Magney and Ashley May and all her family and friends. Interment will be in the George Johnson Memorial Cemetery at Winnie Dam, MN.
