Maple Dawn was born on October 2, 1995 in Devils Lake, the daughter of Curtiss Tollefson and Rachel Feather. She was raised in the St. Michael area and graduated from Warwick High School. She began working at the Dakota Dry Bean and this is where she met the love of her life, Nick Auker. They established their home in Devils Lake and were the proud and loving parents of Logan.

April was very artistic and was known for her photography, self-made art work and writing. She just loved to have her Dad come for a visit, so she could joke and tease him. They had that special father-daughter bond. April was very close to her brother, Johnson and they were like twins because they were only 10 months a part in age.
