Bascillio Peter Olivas, age 39 journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home in Minnesota. he was born on October 25, 1982 the son of Peter Paul Olivas and Caroline Elizabeth Yellow. Bascillio was a member of the Red Lake Tribe. He loved his boys very much and was there for them in their times of need. Bascillio loved pulling his little pranks on everyone, had a special way of making people laugh, especially when you needed it most. He was good company and was welcomed everywhere he went. Loved making his tacos for his family and close friends. He will be truly missed by his family.

He is survived by his sons: Basilio Milham and Louis Olivas; brothers: Larry Charette, Robbie Charettel; sisters: Ivy Charette and Georgie Olivas; the love of his life: Adrienne Frank; many other loving relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father: Peter Olivas; mother: Caroline Olivas; brother: Marvin Charette and his sister Martha Olivas.

An All-night wake will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

An All-night wake will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Red Lake Old Community Center in Red Lake, Minnesota

A funeral service for Bascillio Peter Olivas will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Red Lake Old Community Center in Red Lake, Minnesota.

Honorary Casket Bearers and Casket Bearers will be All Bascillio's Family, Relatives and Friends.

Interment at St. Mary Cemetery in Red Lake, Minnesota.

The Chilson Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
