Highway 197 closes at the railroad crossing in Bemidji Sept. 26-30

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Those who travel on Highway 197 near Washington Avenue south in Bemidji should plan for short-term delays and a detour as crews close and repair the railroad crossing. The work is expected to last five days, beginning Sept. 26 at 8:30 a.m., weather permitting.

During the closure, motorists will detour utilizing Washington Avenue south, Roosevelt Road and Paul Bunyan Drive southeast.
