Learn How To Drive Past The Gas Pump At Beltrami Electric's EV Car Show!

Bemidji, Minn., (Sept. 6, 2022) – On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Beltrami Electric Cooperative (BEC) will be hosting an Electric Vehicle (EV) Car Show. The event will be held at Beltrami Electric on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 4 – 7 p.m. and is supported by Beltrami Electric Cooperative, Minnkota Power Cooperative, and Otter Tail Power Company. Hear about today's charging technologies and the programs available for your EV through your local electric provider for home charging off-peak rates and rebates.

Electric vehicles offer a variety of benefits, and EV owners will share their experiences owning and driving an electric vehicle, including overcoming range anxiety and the best way to charge an EV battery. There will be an EV Owner Discussion Panel starting at 5:30 p.m.

The event will feature a variety of EVs: Ford F-150 Lightning, Ford Mach-E Mustang, Chevy Bolt, Volkswagen ID.4, various Tesla models, QuietKat e-bikes and more!

"We are excited to share the benefits of EVs with the community and hope you will come kick a few tires and find out firsthand how electric vehicles are gaining traction", said Bob Gregg, business development manager at Beltrami Electric Cooperative.
