Sealcoat project on Highways 2, 71 and 197 in Bemidji to begin August 27

Motorists can expect lane closures and delays beginning August 27

Bemidji, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 71 south of Bemidji can expect short term delays, lane closures and flaggers as construction begins August 27. During the project, crews will sealcoat sections of area highways beginning with Highway 71 south of Bemidji, then Highway 197 (Washington Avenue south) in Bemidji and completing the project with Highway 2 east of Highway 71. The project is expected to be complete in early September.
