Terence “Hoks” Neadeau, Jr., Makade-Waawaashkeshii “Black Deer”, Bear Clan, age 39, of Red Lake, MN, travelled to the spirit world on August 15, 2022.

Terence was born on August 23, 1982, to Terence and Emma “Amy” (Martin) Neadeau, Sr. in Minneapolis, MN. As a teen, he moved to Red Lake and lived with Marsha Neadeau and Gloria Neadeau. He attended school at Red Lake High School and played football. He worked at the Thief River Falls Casino and then as a PCA. Hoks had many hobbies and interests. He recorded several rap songs with his friend, Jessie Smith and performed in the Bemidji area. He enjoyed working on his cars, hunting, fishing and sing and drum group. He loved being a dad and enjoyed taking his son, Kodiak, for walks on the beach to collect rocks and listening to Northern Cree with him. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Terence “Terry” (Vicki) Neadeau, Sr.; his son, Kodiak Neadeau-Jourdain; siblings: Tara (Jethro Boggs) Neadeau, Kerry Benton, Henry (Kelly) Hill, Sr., Connie Hill; special sister, Teresita Stonechild; special daughters: Azlynn and Waylynn Wind-Jourdain and Ailzabeth and Cynthia Jourdain; the mother of his son, Valerie Jourdain-Desjarlait; nieces: Tia Neadeau, Lorene Auginash, Layla Foy, Nicole Auginash, Niani Almaguer, Shanelle Benton, Jordan Hill, Jayden Hill, Gia Bailey, Aaleigha Bailey, Levayah Bedeau, Nancy Benton, Martina Wade and Miranda Wade; nephews: Chris Knudsen, Talon Neadeau, Cody Greene, Dylan Lafave, Ambrose Benton, Gordon Benton, Henry Hill, Jr., Shawn Hill, Two Bears Wade, Keenan Beaulieu, Giizhik Williams, Konrad Bailey and Jeremya Foy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Those greeting him in the spirit world are: his mother, Emma “Amy” Neadeau; maternal grandparents: Rose Mae and Gabriel Martin; paternal grandparents: Edith and Henry Neadeau; sisters: Lori Siegel, and Allison Benton; brothers: Loren Siegel and Burton Benton; special mother, Gloria Neadeau; and nephew, Bryce Benton.

The wake will begin at Noon on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Little Rock Center and continue until the service on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Active casketbearers will be: Talon Neadeau, Chris Knudsen, Kerry Benton, Maynard Johns, Keith Neadeau, Jr., Brandon Neadeau, Claude Neadeau, Jr., Lee Neadeau, Josh Neadeau, Charlie Reynolds, Del English, Jeff Jourdain, Gerald Jourdain and Henry Hill.
