Virgil Herald, 66 of the Spirit Lake Nation, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Eventide Heartland Care Center in Devils Lake.

Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Virgil will be on Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Tekakwitha Center in St. Michael, ND with Reverend Paul Schuster officiating. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 10:00 a.m. from City Plaza in Devils Lake.
