MCCL to respond to Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson abortion ruling

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota's oldest and largest pro-life organization, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL), will respond to the U.S. Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson ruling when it is handed down within the coming days. MCCL will issue a press release immediately following the ruling. MCCL Executive Director Scott Fischbach and other MCCL spokespersons will be available for interviews throughout the day.

The Dobbs case involves a Mississippi law that protects unborn children after 15 weeks. The Court could use the case to overturn Roe v. Wade and allow states to determine their own abortion laws.

A recent MCCL backgrounder provides important information about abortion law in Minnesota, polling, and Roe v. Wade. The backgrounder can be found here.

Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life is Minnesota's oldest and largest pro-life organization and the sole Minnesota affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee.
