Helen Andersen age 62 passed away Wednesday June 15, 2022 at home.

She was born February 6th 1960 in Red Lake, MN to Verna Frog & Clifford RedEagle.

She was married to Truxton Andersen Jr. on June 20th 1987. She is survived by her six children, Theresa (Ron), Kevin (Jennifer), Devon, Truxton (Ashley), Charmaine (Dana), and Charlene (Geoffrey.)

Sister Kathy Anderson, Brothers Lester Cloud P.J McGraw, Chip Vesely, Wilfred (Chum) McGraw, Linda McGraw-Adams and 19 Grandchildren.

Those greeting her are her Parents Verna Frog & Clifford RedEagle, Sisters Beverly Tait, Patricia RedEagle and Thelma RedEagle. Grandchildren Jacy May and Ronald Lussier Jr., Nephews Arlyn Nelson, Carter RedEagle, Wynzir RedEagle, Jason Anderson. Uncle Joe Benais.

Honorary Paul Bearers- Carol Brown, Donna Morrison, Mona Brown, Becky "Beer Bomb" Cook, Shirley Lussier, Patty Brown, Dawn Neadeau, Bonnie Jourdain, Joe Jourdain, and Wilburt Tait.

Casket Bearers- Edward RedEagle, Aaron Kingbird, Henry Donnell Jr, Geoffrey Pierre, Truxton Andersen III, Ryan Kingbird, Todd Anderson, Evan RedEagle, Douglas RedEagle.

Helen's favorite things to do were walking, visiting "sessions" with her friends, going to the casino, attending basketball games with her kids, and especially loved family gatherings.

She loved going to Pow Wows and playing with her Grandchildren. Mom wasn't afraid to speak her mind, but people loved her for it. She was stubborn but was humble and kind with her stubbornness. She was a people person who loved to laugh and meet new people wherever she went. She enjoyed telling crazy stories as well as sharing memories of life.

A traditional wake will begin on Saturday, June 18, 2022, 5:00 PM and continue until a Celebration of her Life at the Red Lake Community Center on Sunday, June 19, 2022, 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Red Lake, Minnesota
