Alena moved to an ancestral home in Slovakia last year on the border of Ukraine. Times were difficult with a lock down and state of emergency due to Covid in her country . And then the war began. Alena is a prolific painter and was painting with great depth the stories of her ancestors and region. She has been an Art Therapist at Red Lake Nation. She came to serve the Red Lake communities after the Red Lake school shooting as an art therapist and helped support so many . Donna has worked in adolescent psychiatry, trauma work, hospice, multicultural education and more. Her greatest love is her passion for art, and its healing potentials and medicine for so many. Donna lives in Ohio and Slovakia. Donna Hrabcakova has shown in the Midwest, CA, Chicago, Slovakia and soon to be Czech Republic. The exhibit will be up until June 30th, 2022.

She will be present the next evening on Saturday, June 11, 2022 for the Sister Song Women's Scholarship Concert at the same location at 6:00 PM .

Please join us for this wonderful weekend of support, art, community, discussion and sharing collectively this moment in the Ukraine.
