Jerel Bellanger Sr. 44, of White Earth passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Funeral Service for Jerel will be on Monday, May 9th, at 11am at St. Columba Episcopal Church in White Earth. Visitation will start at 9:30 am at the church on Monday, May 9th.

Jerel Edward Bellanger Sr. was born on November 11, 1977, in Detroit Lakes, MN to Francis Bellanger and Gloria King. He was raised in White Earth and went to White Earth Elementary School and Waubun High School. After high School, he furthered his education at MSU for carpentry and welding.

Jerel enjoyed fixing up old cars, ice fishing, watching the Vikings and MN Wild, and spending time with his family and friends.

Deeply loved, Jerel's passing is mourned by his mother Gloria King of White Earth; children Deandria Bellanger of Moorhead, Maria Bellanger of Moorhead, Jerel Jr. of Mahnomen, and Taelyn Bellanger of Ogema; grandchildren Addison Heisler, and Azriel Simon; siblings Jason "Jake" Bellanger of Ogema, and Heather (Cory) Berry of Ogema; special aunts Emma, MaryJo, Liz, and Betty Ann King; numerous friends, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Francis Bellanger; sister Francine Bellanger; uncle Franklyn Jackson Jr.; cousin's Anthony King and David King; nephew Ethan Berry; grandparents Fred and Mary Lou King, and William and Delia Bellanger; and numerous extended family.
