Beltrami County, Bemidji, MN – May 4, 2022: On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Beltrami County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jarrett Walton was recognized by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Emergency Communications Network during its annual Public Safety Communications Conference held in Breezy Point.
Walton was recognized for his leadership, knowledge, expertise, dedication and hard work as Chair of the Communications and Technology public safety committee that supported the Northern Lights Task Force. The Northern Lights Task Force was comprised of 16 northern Minnesota Counties, Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
