(Red Lake, May 2, 2022) - Tribal Secretary, Sam Strong, recently donated $14,000 of his personal income to Red Lake Nation College. His donation will provide a $1,000 scholarship for each of RLNC's fourteen 2022 graduates.
"This generous donation is an investment, not just in our students, but our entire community," said Chief Dan King, RLNC President. The scholarship will be awarded to the graduates during RLNC's 2022 Commencement Ceremony, which is being held at 5 PM on May 20, 2022.
