This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

DAY ONE...Tonight

A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and possibly freezing rain is expected after midnight within northeast North Dakota into

northwest Minnesota, mainly along and north of the Highway 200 corridor. This wintry mix may deposit up to 2 inches of snow and a glaze of ice before 9 AM CDT. This could create isolated hazardous travel conditions on elevated surfaces.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Friday night into Saturday will see warmer and more moist air spreading north. In addition to the threat for heavy rain, which

may cause flooding, there is a risk of severe thunderstorms Friday overnight in southeastern North Dakota and west central Minnesota. The main threat is large hail. Saturday will the severe risk shift a bit east and northeast covering much of Minnesota from Bemidji and Ada south. All hazards are possible.
