QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.

• Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields AND 2,000 hours preferred of documented supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness or children with emotional disturbances.

o Provisional hire will be considered if 2000 hours of documented supervised experience in the delivery of services in the treatment of mental illness is not met.

• Valid Driver's License and insurance for travel between sites and other business related destinations.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will provide Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS), which consists of activities designed to promote skill development of both the child and the family. Under the clinical supervision of a mental health professional, the mental health practitioner CTSS will provide culturally responsive mental health services (skills training) to children and families who have a qualifying child under age 21 and have a severe emotional disturbance (SED) or emotional disturbance (ED) as documented by a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. Skills training is provided primarily in the child's home but may also be provided in school and/or in the community.
