Walz-Flanagan Campaign Raises $1 million in Q1

The campaign has $4.1 million in cash-on-hand heading into spring

ST. PAUL, MN -- Today, April 13, the Walz-Flanagan campaign announced that it raised over $1 million during the first quarter of 2022 and has over $4.1 million in cash-on-hand heading into spring. The average donation to the campaign was $73.31, and 87% of the campaign’s contributors were from Minnesota.

The $4.1 million cash-on-hand figure is a record for any Minnesota gubernatorial campaign at this point in the election cycle.

“Our supporters are fired up to re-elect Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan and to keep Minnesota moving forward,” said Nichole Johnson, campaign manager for the Walz-Flanagan campaign. “That support has translated into a historically strong cash on hand advantage as campaign season ramps up. Our campaign will have the resources necessary to reach voters in every corner of the state with our message of moving Minnesota forward and building One Minnesota.”
