Daley Marie Smith, age 36, of the Bear Clan and Mille Lacs, MN started her spiritual journey on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Onamia, MN. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on June 5, 1985, the daughter of Judith Beaulieu and Dale Smith, Sr.

Daley loved to spend time with her fiancé, children, and family. Daley enjoyed taking care of her little brothers, "Dusty" & "Bull", as family meant the world to her. Daley made the best soups and loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a people-person who always looked forward to meeting and visiting with new people. Daley liked to wrestle with her kids and terrorize her grandson. Daley enjoyed beading, dancing at pow-wows, basketball, hunting, fishing, bowling, laser tag, four wheeling, listening to music, gambling, racing cars, and getting dressed up. She was the fun one in the family. She enjoyed working and her co-workers. Daley liked creating items out of birch bark and making balsam wreathes. She always made time to go to Valley Fair and the MN State Fair with her family and friends.

Those greeting Daley in the spirit world are her dad, Dale Smith, Sr .; step-dad, Bryan Beaulieu; father of her children, Timothy "Tim" Geionety; sister, Crystal Gutierrez-Dorr; nieces, baby girl "Baby B" Beaulieu, Alyssa Smith, and Nicoliza Morales-Cruz; uncle, Francis Smith; great-grandparents, Maggie and Abraham Smith.

Those left behind to cherish the memory of Daley are her sons, Kyle, Timothy "Tim" III, and George Geionety all of Aitkin; daughters, Shakoka Smith of Onamia, MN, Vanessa Smith of Aitkin, Timmyra Geionety of Wah Kon; significant other, Chadric "Chad" McKee of Aitkin, MN; mother, Judith "Judy" Beaulieu of Mille Lacs; special auntie and uncle (who helped raise her), Agnes and John Smith; brothers, Dale White, David White, Brandon "Bull" (Steph) Beaulieu, Bryan "Dusty" (Tamera) Beaulieu, Clinton Smith; sister, Lesley Smith-Gomez; grandson, Jovonny Hill; close cousins, April, Eileen, Beck, Arleda Smith and Dayday Fajardo; and numerous other family members and friends.

A two-night wake for Daley will begin Friday, April 8, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. and continue until her Sunday, April 10, 2022, 10:00 a.m. service all to be held at the New Redby Community Center in Redby, MN. Daley's Spiritual Advisor will be Lawrence "Hank" Kingbird. Those helping to lay Daley to rest will be Chadric "Chad" McKee, Kyle Geionety, George Geionety, Tim Geionety, Bryan Beaulieu, Brandon Beaulieu, Eric Smith, Lyle Smith, and Bryan Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Laberta Geionety, April Smith, Eileen Smith, Becky Smith, Linda Smith, Aaliyah Lussier, Arleda Smith, Shakoka Smith, Vanessa Smith, Timmyra Geionety, Steph Pemberton, and Tamera Lawrence. Interment will be in her Family burial grounds in Redby, MN.
