Sanford Health reduces visitor restrictions in Bemidji, Bagley

Sanford Health hospitals in Bemidji and Bagley follow these visitor guidelines:

Visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Two visitors are allowed per day. Patients must choose two people who will be allowed to visit during visiting hours that day.

Visitors must wear a mask that covers their mouth and nose at all times, including while in a patient’s room. Surgical masks are recommended and will be provided.

We allow minor visitors ages 5 and over. They must be accompanied by an adult.

Visitors should limit how much time they spend outside the patient’s room and only use public restrooms.

Exceptions include:

Pediatric hospital patients are allowed two parent or guardian visitors per day.

All Special Care Nursery visitors must be accompanied by another visitor with an identification bracelet. We allow only two visitors for patients in the nursery per day. No visitors under the age of 13 are allowed, and visitors ages 13 to 17 are allowed a 15-minute visit.

End-of-life patient visitors will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

All visitors must be screened for COVID-19 symptoms when entering the facility in accordance with current CDC and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines.
