RLNC President's Club of Excellence Meet US Senator, Tina Smith in Washington DC

I was so proud of our RLNC students for representing our Tribe and College so well this week! They were in Washington all week to advocate for our college and remind our elected leaders how important our college is. Yesterday they met MN Senator Tina Smith. Senator Smith was highly impressed with our students and inspired by their stories of overcoming adversity to succeed in college.

Our future Tribal Red Lake leadership is in great hands with students like these. All of these students have perfect 4.0 GPA's! We have many success stories like this at RLNC and in Red Lake.

Congrats to Clara Johnson, Clay Byington, Justin Heminger and Mitchell Johnson Jr. Also, a Chi-Miigwech for our Student Success Director, Shie Omen, for being their outstanding chaperone and host.
