Dennis Keith Thompson Jr., age 38, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. He was born December 5, 1983, in Minneapolis, the son of Dennis K. Thompson Sr. and Kathy Smith. Dennis was a family man; he was loving and caring, and he was also very funny. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed traveling, going to pow wows and loved to cook, especially Indian tacos. Dennis loved his kids and hanging out with his family and friends. He had a huge heart, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dennis is survived by his father, Dennis Thompson Sr.; brothers, Curtis, Gregory, and Sage; sister, Littlestar; children, Dominick, Alexis, Dante, Abby, Ramona, Anton, Tristan, and Emma; many nieces, nephews, aunties, and uncles.

Traditional Wake held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Fond du Lac Cultural Center starting at 6:00 p.m. and will continue until the 10:00 a.m. traditional funeral service on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Spiritual Leader is Ricky DeFoe; pallbearers are Dennis Thompson Sr., Romney Olson, Dante Thompson, and Anton Thompson; and honorary bearers are the Bosto-Foote Family, Wayne "JOJO" Bosto, Joseph Fohrenkam, Gregory Stone Sr., the Olson Family and Dominick Proulx. Burial will follow at the Old Holy Family Cemetery.
