DNC Statement on Florida Republicans Illegally Changing Voters' Party Registration

DNC Chair Jaime Harrison released the following statement in light of today’s Miami Herald report that Florida Republicans changed the party registration of more than 100 voters without their consent:

“Today’s report makes it disturbingly clear that the Republican Party of Florida will go to any lengths to get ahead — even if that means fraudulently changing voters’ party affiliations without their knowledge or consent. Equally disturbing is that by focusing on public housing complexes, elderly voters, immigrants, and voters of color, Republicans are directly targeting Florida’s most vulnerable communities.

"This is not only unacceptable, it is illegal, and Florida voters deserve to see those who perpetrated this fraud held accountable.”
