Gloria Jean Hanson, age 72, of Minneapolis, journeyed to the Spirit World on February 15, 2022. She was born on August 11, 1949 to Clarence Kenneth Hanson and Amelia Mary Chase.

Mickey was always a "spitfire" to say the least from the time she was born until her final days. She always spoke her mind and never took a back seat to anyone. The people she loved knew that she loved them. And the ones she didn't also knew how she felt.

She loved to spend "A Lot" of time and money at the casino. Never leaving with any money most of the time but it wasn't about the money for her. She just loved being out and playing. Mickey loved to dance, sing, walk and play her scratch offs! Mickey has been through multiple strokes, cancer and a handful of things that would have beat most people a long time ago. She was a "Spitfire" until the end!

She leaves behind her 3 sons: Michael, Dana, Clarence, her brother Gary Lee Hanson, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. We will always miss you but we will never forget you! Mom, sister, grandma, great grandma, auntie, and friend.

All night wake will take place on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Wake Service will be at 6:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 9:00 am. Spiritual Advisor is Joseph Bester. All services will be held at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Interment will be in Red Lake, Minnesota.
