PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Male Patient Technician will provide supervision, care and guidance to clientele of the O-Bahshiing Treatment Center, located in Ponemah MN. Reports to Obaashiing Treatment Center Clinical Director. Part-time positon. Salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Assist in emergency situations as directed

• Able to respond to referrals made by other social services agencies

• Document patient information in the log book using appropriate forms and in a timely manner

• Recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions based on training and experience

• Maintain strict and confidential guidelines regarding current and former clients, their families, and referents in accordance with federal and state laws

• Transports, assists and participates in recreational and leisure activities

• Responsible for ensuring unit and client's rooms are clean and orderly

• May assist in the collection of urine analysis samples for individuals

• Assist clients with goal and treatment objectives related to individual treatment plans

• Assists with the transportation of clients to healthcare and other necessary appointments related to individuals success

• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's license and insurance preferred

• CPR & First Aid certification (preferred) or willing to obtain within 90 days

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work all shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays

• Must be free from problematic substance use for a minimum of 1 year

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
