Classic rock group America celebrates its 50th Anniversary with this Minnesota tour stop

[Fargo, ND] – Shooting Star Casino is excited to announce the addition of classic rock group America to their 2022 concert lineup. America will take the stage on Friday, April 22, at 8pm. Tickets go on sale Feb. 21.

Celebrating 50 years of music, founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell continue to make music together and tour the world, thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.

Forming in the late sixties, Beckley, Bunnell and former band mate, the late Dan Peek, met in high school in London. America has six certified gold and/or platinum albums, and their greatest hits collection amassed over four million in sales.

A staple of the ‘70s music scene, some of their most known number one hits include, “Horse With No Name,” “Ventura Highway” and “Tin Man.”

Tickets will go on sale Feb. 21, 2022, and will be $27, $40 and $54.
